Get to know the Secondsight team – Alyssa Promnitz

At Secondsight, client experience is really important to us, and we believe providing a great experience starts with our employees.

In this month’s edition of ‘Get to know the Secondsight team’, we spoke to Alyssa Promnitz, a Client Experience Executive, who interacts with our clients daily.

Hi Alyssa, tell us about your role at Secondsight?

I have been a Client Experience Executive for the last 6 months but have been with the company since March 2020. In my current role, I support two of Secondsight’s Partners, Matthew Mitten and Neal Shepherd, to ensure their clients are taken care of day-to-day. I’m so very lucky to hold this position at Secondsight, I’ve learned so much from my short time here and have built great relationships with some of our clients.

What’s your favourite thing about your job?

One of my favourite things would have to be working so closely with our clients. It is so interesting talking to clients, many of whom are from different industries, and understand more about them and how I can support them. Also, pensions are a lot more fun to learn about than you think!

What career highlight are you most proud of?

My career highlight so far would be getting promoted to my current role. Before I started at Secondsight I had no knowledge of pensions or even had one myself and now I’m working in a team that calls themselves the Superpod. (Don’t tell the others!)

If you could live anywhere, where would it be and why?

Greece! I don’t even need to think about this one! The islands are just so beautiful and who could say no to the warm weather and beautiful sunsets.

How do you like to spend a day off?

I love to go out with my family and friends for a bit of lunch or dinner, and enjoy a good glass of wine.

If you could click your fingers and become an expert in something, what would it be?

I would love to be able to speak multiple languages fluently. It would make travelling and understanding the world so much easier, and I wouldn’t need subtitles on Netflix!
